Philosophy
The school is a heterogenous group of children with varying levels of
intelligence. The school emphasizes on the individual's attempt to
identify and nurture his talent, to enable him to excel in whatever he may
have the ability and aptitude for.
Saffron City School breaks through the present day academic clutter to
provide a realistic roadmap for a successful tenure as a student. It is a
journey through education sprinkled with a variety of academic and non
academic learning that goes beyond the conventional classroom method. Not
only does it ensure all round development of the students inculcating
Indian tradition and values but at the same time provides exposure to the
globally best educational practices.
Aims & objectives
In Saffron City School, emphasis is laid on life centric education
with an obvious focus on aptitude and attitude, which in turn helps a
child, reach the desired altitude. The school would like to instill within
the student, the desire to achieve cognitively and master the curricullum
and to achieve process skills like decision making, problem solving and
critical thinking. Most of the education is discovering, putting together
and learning. What better way than to move out into the world and discover
for yourself. The world is a field laboratory and the students are
encouraged to make the most of it.
Affiliation
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Education, New Delhi
at the Secondary and Senior Secondary levels and prepares its students for
the examination conducted by this Board making them eligible for admission
to class eleven and professional institutions. |
